Back To School: Freshmen 15 Slim Workout Routine

Ninja Warrior - Jake Hilton’s Training Video #5 of 5 (Metallica: Nothing Else Matters)

This is my 5th Ninja Warrior Training Video. Enjoy.

I’ve always considered myself to be moderately strong, fit and healthy. I’ve been into weight-lifting for years; I’ve competed in many long-distance races, including one marathon at the young age of 16; and I’ve obtained the rank of Black Belt in Korean martial arts. However, it wasn’t until November of 2007–the month I was introduced to the competitors of Japan’s famous Sasuke “Ninja Warrior” Competition–that I realized what it really meant to be strong. Powerful men and heros such as Makoto Nagano, Mr. Ninja Warrior, and Shunsuke Nagasaki acted as the catalyst to spark my desire to compete in Ninja Warrior, and so I immediately began my training.

As I mention in the video, my goal is to compete in the SPRING, 2009 Ninja Warrior Competition (in or around the end of April, beginning of May, 2009), and I’ve trained hard for it. Of course, I’ll continue my training, always progressing in strength, speed, agility, endurance, and flexibility, and I’ll do my best to create small videos such as this one to chart my progression.

By the time I submit my G4 American Ninja Warrior Challenge Video (right around December, 2008 / January, 2009), I hope you’ll all watch and vote for me. With your votes and with your support, I’ll have the opportunity to travel to Japan and represent the American People in Sasuke’s 22nd Season. However, I have no intention of simply going and competing and having a good time. I’m going to win! I’m going to become the first true American Ninja Warrior, by conquering all four stages and ascending to the summit of Mount Midoriyama!

Please continue to watch my videos. As time goes on, the videos will become more and more impressive. I promise you that.

10-Minute Fitness Plan (Workout C)

Hey, Bloggy Friends!

Here we are, moving right along with our six day workout plan. The exercises in Workout C should be accomplished on the 3rd and 6th day of the regimen. Workout C is the last session of exercises. From here you repeat A, B & C on the 4th, 5th & 6th day. As you go along, and the exercises start to seem too easy, simply add weight and extra reps to the routine. Now, let’s get to it!
